Edward Van Merrienboer ’74, O.P.

has taken on a new opportunity at Blessed Sacrament Parish. He began serving as Director of Faith Formation on August 15, 2014. Brother Edward earned his BS majoring in Social Science.

Leroy Arnold ’82

celebrated his wedding to Neal Demp on the Dutch island of Saba on June 12, 2014. Leroy is the library director of the Historical Society of Pennsylvania and Neal is a psychiatrist. Leroy earned a BA majoring in American Studies.

Mary Dunlavy-Tachon ’89

and Dr. Dennis Dwyer celebrated their wedding on August 30, 2014. The ceremony was held in Nice, France. Mary graduated with a BS in Nursing.

Ted Kozlowski ’00

was elected the 50th mayor of Stillwater, MN in an election on November 4. He will assume mayorship in January 2015. Ted earned his BS majoring in Political Science.

Sarah (Kuhn) Hart ’04 and
Paul Hart ’04

welcomed a son, Xavier, to their family on September 14, 2014. Sarah earned her BA in Spanish and Business. Paul earned his BS majoring in Art.

Lindsey Speer ’04

was recently honored as the 2014 ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award recipient in Muncie, Indiana. Lindsey received the award for her work in the community and her professional accomplishments. She currently serves as Ball State University’s Associate Director of Orientation and Admissions.

Joshua Biller ’05

earned his Ph. D. in Chemistry from the University of Denver in June. He and his and wife Megan recently celebrated the birth and baptism of their son Conrad.

Tammy Johnson ’05

and partner Sara Depies welcomed Reed Nolan to their family on July 21, 2014. Reed is their second son, joining big brother Ryan. Tammy earned her BS with a major in History.

Tess DeSimone ’09 and
Ian Quinn ’09

celebrated their wedding in October 2013 and are living in Chicago, IL. Both graduates of the BS-Nusing program, Tess is a pediatric nuse and Ian works in hospital administration while earning his MS-Nursing.

Fatou Ceesay ’10

is the owner and manager of Cairasu Home Care, an in-home agency that provides short-term, personal and emotional support for clients. Fatou was nominated for the 2014 ATHENA Young Professional Award in Madison, WI for her professional and community accomplishments.

Jayson Benson ’11

celebrated their wedding on September 2, 2012. Mellissa graduated with a BS in Social Students and Education and Jayson earned a BS in History.

Esther Meuer ’10

celebrated her wedding to Ivan Valtchev on August 16, 2014. Esther graduated with a BS in Communications.

Sari Shovers ’10 and
Michael Vineburg ’12

celebrated their wedding on September 14, 2014 at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee. The wedding party included Brittni Michael '10 and Amanda Beal '11. Sari holds a MS in School Counseling from UW-Milwaukee and is a preschool teacher. Michael is in Pharmacy School at Concordia University.

Erin Koepsel ’10 and
Alex Elliott ’11

celebrated their wedding on October 25, 2014. The wedding party included bridesmaids Kelli Brewster '12 and Nina DeVault '10, groomsmen Erik Massey '10, Brad DeVault '10 and Austin Stanley (current student) and usher Blake Hunt '11. Erin graduated with a BS in Business and is a Materials Manager at Kraft Foods. Alex received his BS in Accounting and is an Inventory Accountant as Bell Laboratories.

Monica Simpson, MBA ’11

and husband Richard welcomed Isla MaryBeth to their family on June 13, 2014. Isla joins siblings Blake (7), John Paul (5), Francesca (3), and Theo (2).

Jackie Erzinger ’13

has been promoted to Program & Corporate Relations Manager at the Colon Cancer Coalition in Minnesota.
