President Flanagan In D.C.

Madison, Wis. (February 12, 2018) - Dr. Flanagan recently returned from Washington D.C. where he attended both the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU) annual meeting, and the National Association of Independent College and Universities (NAICU) annual meeting. 

At ACCU, Dr. Flanagan moderated the session “Board of Trustees Mission Formation,” a discussion about ways presidents have found success in sharing the Catholic social, spiritual, and intellectual tradition with their board.

The NAICU Annual Meeting included the sixth annual Advocacy Day. Dr. Flanagan and his fellow college and university presidents had an opportunity to meet with representatives in Congress and attend the Congressional Independent Colleges Caucus Reception. 

Dr. Flanagan currently serves on the Board of Directors for NAICU.
