Madison, Wis. (August 1, 2019) – The application for new freshmen to attend Edgewood College in the Fall of 2020 is now open and for the second consecutive year, the application fee is being waived. The early fee waiver is
in effect through September 1, 2019.
Edgewood College continues to take steps to remove barriers to application and admission that can discourage students from attending the college of their choice.
“We had success with this initiative last summer, and feel strongly that this simple step can help eliminate hurdles that can affect students and families in their college search process,” Tess Ferzoco, Assistant Director of
Undergraduate Admissions, said. “Applying sooner, taking advantage of visit opportunities, and getting your questions answered earlier results in a more thorough search
process. That leads to making a great college decision for students and their families.”
The fee, which is regularly $30, will be waived for undergraduate applications received through September 1. Application fees are common among colleges and
universities and help offset the administrative costs of undergraduate applications.
Edgewood College is also a member of the Common Application community, an online system employed by nearly 900 colleges and universities in the U.S. and around the world. There is no application fee for Edgewood College for
students using the Common Application.
