Madison, Wis. (August 27, 2021) – Edgewood College is honored to announce a $30,000 gift that will provide scholarships for nursing students over the next three years. Chad Weis, General Manager of the Madison office of
Home Instead® made the gift to create The Home Instead® Nursing Scholarships.
“The impact of our School of Nursing extends far into the communities we serve,” Margaret Noreuil, Dean of the Henry Predolin School of Nursing, Business, and Health Sciences, said. “We are so grateful for the generosity
of Home Instead for supporting our nursing students, and for their compassionate, skillful care in our communities across Wisconsin.”
Weis and his team received the Founders’ award in May 2020 from their parent office, which gave them the opportunity to donate $30,000 to a nonprofit organization of their choice. That choice was Edgewood College. The
first scholarships will be awarded to students this fall.
“We are excited to partner with Edgewood College to support our community’s future healthcare workers,” Chad Weis, general manager of Home Instead Madison, said. “This scholarship will help provide the educational
framework so that, together with the healthcare industry, we can enhance the lives of local families — something we at Home Instead believe strongly in and strive to do every day.”
