College Marks Earth Day with Special Guest

Madison, Wis. (April 15, 2015) – Edgewood College welcomes author and activist Dr. Brian Czech to campus for a special Earth Day lecture “The Conflict between Environmental Health and Economic Growth.”

The lecture is scheduled for 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm, Wednesday, April 22, 2015, in Anderson Auditorium. The public is invited and there is no admission charge.

Dr. Czech is President and Co-Founder of the Center for the Advancement of the Steady State Economy. He is the author of Supply Shock: Economic Growth at the Crossroads and the Steady State Solution, and Shoveling Fuel for a Runaway Train.

The lecture is the keynote of a week of activity on campus, including bicycle tune-ups, invasive plant removal, a seedling sale, and much more.
