Eagles Impress With 121 NACC Scholar-Athletes

Madison, Wis. (July 14, 2020) - It was another successful year in the classroom for student-athletes at Edgewood College. On Tuesday, the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its Scholar Athletes for the 2019-20 season and Edgewood College was well-represented with 121 honorees.

Statement to Wisconsin Delegation Regarding Student and Exchange Visitor Program

Madison, Wis. (July 8, 2020) – The announced update to the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement this week is deeply troubling and confusing at best; at its worst it is a policy that clearly embraces xenophobia and hatred. Edgewood College has welcomed students from countries around the world for decades. These students are valued members of our community, and of the Greater Madison community.

Construction Underway at New Athletics Venue

Madison, Wis. (June 23, 2020) - Construction at the new home for the Men’s And Women’s Soccer and Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse programs is now underway at Reddan Field in Verona. The new venue, which features a unique partnership between Edgewood College and the Madison Area Youth Soccer Association (MAYSA), is expected to be ready for action by August 15.

President Announces New Cabinet Position, Task Force, to Combat Racism

New President Announced

Madison, Wis. (April 9, 2020) – The Board of Trustees of Edgewood College announced today that Dr. Andrew Manion will serve as the 9th President of Edgewood College. Dr. Manion most recently served as President of Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wis. He will replace Mary Ellen Gevelinger, O.P., Ed. D, who has served in the role of Interim President since September 1, 2019.

Spring Semester Update March 19, 2020

Edgewood College is currently on spring break, and classes will resume fully online on Monday, March 23, 2020. That decision was shared with the campus in an email sent earlier today.

Edgewood College and UW-Platteville Launch New Partnership

Madison, Wis. (March 4, 2020) – Edgewood College is pleased to announce a new partnership with the College of Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. The Engineering Dual Degree will allow students to complete two degrees simultaneously. Students will earn a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Physics from Edgewood College, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering at UW-Platteville. The two institutions celebrated the agreement at a signing ceremony held today.
