Piano Accompanist – (Part-Time)
DESCRIPTION OF JOB:
Edgewood University’s Music Program is seeking an experienced part-time (15 hours/week) piano accompanist with proven record accompanying college, youth and adult choirs, and coaching young singers/instrumentalists. The pianist will accompany the university choirs at Edgewood, as well as voice and instrumental students, and participate in the university chamber orchestra when needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Necessary Education or Work Experience:
- Bachelor of Music (B.M.) required
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Strong sight-reading skills are required.
- Experience coaching and performing standard repertoire for voice, choir, and instrumentalists
