Megan Walsh

Megan Walsh, Ph.D., is Vice President for Academic Affairs and Professor of English at Edgewood University. Before joining Edgewood University in July 2026, Dr. Walsh served as Dean and Campus Director of the University of Maine at Machias, where she increased retention and graduation rates, developed the first four-year nursing pathway in the region in partnership with the University of Maine at Augusta, and secured nearly $4 million in new funding for the campus. She has held teaching and research appointments at the University of Maine, St. Bonaventure University, the Ohio State University, and the University of Pennsylvania. In 2024 she became an elected member of the American Antiquarian Society.
