Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Dr. Jacki Black serves as Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, a position she has held since June 2025.
Dr. Black holds a Ph.D. in educational policy and leadership from Marquette University, where she served as Director of Hispanic Initiatives and Diversity & Inclusion Educational Programming since 2016.
Prior to her role at Marquette, Dr. Black devoted fifteen years to teaching, mentoring, coaching, and advising in Chicago and Milwaukee schools. Most notably, she spent ten years at Marquette University High School, where she taught Honors Spanish for Native Speakers, advised the Orgullo Latino student organization, and served as the Latino Family Liaison.
Dr. Black holds a Master of Arts degree in Education from Saint Xavier University in Chicago, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago.
