When can I apply for this program?
We encourage students to submit their graduate application and admissions materials by the application deadline. However, we will continue to accept applications on a continuous basis until the start of the session. Applications considered complete after the priority deadline can be considered for admission for the next session.

What are the admission requirements?
Applicants for any of the student classifications except non-degree must meet all requirements for admission to the graduate programs. To be considered for admission, applicants must provide the following:
- Completed graduate application.
- Provide evidence of a baccalaureate or more advanced degree from an accredited or equivalent post-secondary institution with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for regular admissions status. The cumulative grade point average is computed on the highest degree held at the time of application.
- Request that official transcripts for all academic credits received from any post-secondary institutions be sent directly to Edgewood University Graduate and Professional Studies.
- Submit a brief written statement describing your professional goals and interest in the MHA program.

Will I pay out-of-state tuition if I live outside of Wisconsin?
There are no out-of-state fees. Edgewood’s fully online programs offer the same flat-rate tuition no matter where you live.
Does Edgewood University require the GRE/GMAT for admission?
No, these exams are not required. The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) and Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) are standardized tests often used for admission into advanced business degree programs. Instead, our admission process takes a holistic approach, considering multiple factors beyond a single test score, making graduate education more accessible.
Do I need prior healthcare experience to apply?
No! While some students come from a healthcare background, business, management, and other professionals looking to transition into healthcare leadership are encouraged to apply. The curriculum builds a strong foundation in healthcare finance, policy, quality, information technology, and leadership, making it accessible to students from diverse professional backgrounds. Students with an undergraduate degree in a non-healthcare field are encouraged to apply.
Is there a capstone project, thesis, or internship requirement?
