Transfer Admissions Requirements

Applicants for admission to Edgewood College are required to request and submit the following:

  • College Transcripts – from all previous colleges attended
  • High School Transcripts – with graduation date, cumulative GPA and class rank (if available)
  • We do accept transcripts from students that have been Home Schooled
  • GED (if high school transcripts are not available)

If an applicant has earned at least 12 academic credits, the admissions decision will be based entirely on the student’s college-level work. To be admitted, a student must show a cumulative GPA of a 2.0 or better on all college credits.

If an applicant has not earned 12 academic credits, high school work will be used in the admissions decision.  In this situation, applicants must meet the requirements of an incoming freshman which include a cumulative GPA of 2.5, ACT of 18 minimum and/or rank in the upper 50% of graduating class.

Please note that admission to Edgewood College does not guarantee admission to individual schools or programs.  Additional entrance requirements may be required for some programs including, but not limited to, nursing and education.
