Transfer Student Scholarships

Academic Scholarships

Students admitted to Edgewood College are automatically considered for the following merit-based scholarships. No additional application is required to receive these scholarships. These scholarships are available to students who transfer to Edgewood College with 12 or more credits from an accredited institution. Continuous, full-time enrollment is required. 

Transfer Distinguished Scholarship ($12,000): Available to students with a cumulative college GPA of 3.5 and above in all college coursework.

Transfer Excellence Scholarship ($10,000): Available to students who present a cumulative college GPA of a 3.25-3.49 in all college coursework.

Transfer Honor Scholarship ($8,000): Available to students who present a cumulative college GPA of a 3.0-3.24 in all college coursework.

Transfer Achievement Scholarship ($6,000): 
Available to students who are starting their first semester at Edgewood College in the Spring of 2023 and present a cumulative college GPA of 2.5-2.99 in all college coursework.

Specialty Awards

Students admitted to Edgewood College are invited to apply for additional competitive merit and need-based awards. Students are selected for these awards based on their demonstrated interests and experiences. Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the DACA/Dreamer Student Financial Aid Application is encouraged. Please note that applications will be reviewed as funding is available. Limited awards are available.

For Transfer students admitted for Fall 2023, the Edgewood College Scholarship Application priority deadline is December 1, 2022 and the final deadline is June 1, 2023.

 

     

    Predolin Award ($6,000-$8,000) – Awarded to high achieving students with financial need who plan to major in the areas of science, engineering, medicine, nursing or business.
    Phi Theta Kappa Award ($2,000) – All Phi Theta Kappa members are eligible to apply.
    Talent Scholarships  ($1,000–$3,000) – Awarded to talented students who plan to continue their participation in the areas of Art, Music, and Theatre at Edgewood College. Please visit the talent scholarship's page for more information.
    Transfer Partnership Award ($5,000): To be eligible to apply for this award, students must have earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and have completed at least 1 full-time semester.
    Alumni Award ($500-$3,000)– Awarded to students whose parents or grandparents are Edgewood College alumni.
    Transfer Opportunity Award ($500–$3,000) – Awarded to students who can make distinctive contributions to Edgewood College either through sharing their demonstrated leadership skills or their unique backgrounds and life experiences.
