INTERFAITH PRAYER FOR THE CARE OF CREATION

Location: St. Joseph Chapel

A sharing of Music, Poetry, Readings and Prayers from many Religious and Spiritual Traditions to celebrate the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation. September 1st marks the beginning of the SEASON OF CREATION that concludes on October 4th, the feast of St. Francis of Assisi the patron saint of Ecologists. These 34 days provide an opportunity for deepening our reverence and respect for Earth, our Common Home: raising awareness of our own ecological footprints and changing our actions to reverse climate change, decrease the use of fossil fuels, and heal the ecosystems in which we live.  Join us for this special celebration.
