Edgewood College is seeking Adjunct Nursing Instructors to join our undergraduate nursing programs. Rooted in the Dominican tradition, Edgewood College is committed to excellence in teaching and learning, with a strong emphasis on ethical leadership, community service, and fostering inclusive, student-centered education.

We are currently looking for individuals with expertise as lecturers or clinical instructors in one or more of the following areas:

  • Medical-Surgical Nursing
  • Maternal-Child Health
  • Psychosocial/Behavioral Health
  • Public Health
  • Adult Health
  • Perinatal & Pediatric Nursing
  • Pharmacology
  • Leadership & Healthcare Organizations
  • Evidence-Based Practice

Responsibilities

  • Teaching undergraduate nursing students in clinical or classroom settings.
  • Providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Collaborating with course leads, full-time faculty, and department chairs to support student learning and course delivery.
  • Maintaining a supportive, inclusive, and professional learning environment.

Job Qualifications

Necessary Education or Work Experience

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or current enrollment in an MSN program.
  • Unencumbered Wisconsin RN license (or eligibility for licensure).
  • At least two years of full-time (or equivalent) direct patient care experience.
  • Previous teaching experience in an academic or professional setting preffered.
  • Experience in curriculum development and teaching methodologies preferred.
  • Strong multicultural competence and commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment preferred.
