Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach
DESCRIPTION OF JOB:
Edgewood College seeks qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Coach serving as head assistant for the Women’s Basketball program. This is a ten-month position with optional full tuition waiver for Graduate level courses (18 credit hours per year) and small stipend.
First consideration will be given to application materials received by June 20, 2025.
Applicants should be in a position to start effective August 1, 2025.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ability to participate through coaching in practice and drills
- Individual workouts with players
- Recruiting
- Instruction and assistance with two weeks of summer basketball camp
- Game film study and preparation
- Investment in lives and growth of student-athletes
- Assisting head coach in all phases of student-athlete mentoring and evaluation
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Necessary Education or Work Experience:
- Previous coaching experience desired.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent candidates should have collegiate playing, and advanced skill and/or teaching/coaching experience.
