DESCRIPTION OF JOB:     

Edgewood University is seeking candidates to direct 2 choirs on campus for the Spring 2026 semester: Chamber Singers (MUS 230) and Edgewood Chorale (MUS 330).

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include selecting repertoire and leading weekly rehearsals of the 2 choral ensembles (Chamber Singers: MW 2 – 3.50 PM and Edgewood Chorale: T 7-8.50 PM) as well as conducting the choirs in 2 shared concerts. Additional responsibilities will include assisting concert coordination and educational logistics (purchasing music, defining call times, preparing syllabi) in collaboration with the concert manager and campus concert coordinator.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Necessary Education or Work Experience:

Qualified candidates must have at least an undergraduate degree in Music or Music Education and a proven teaching record in the field of choral conducting or choral music education.
