Professional Background:
Dr. Scott is a family nurse practitioner dedicated to advanced practice nursing education and has designed and developed the primary care nurse practitioner courses since the launch of the advanced practice programs in 2018. Her clinical interests and experience include allergy and immunology, primary care volunteer service in a community free clinic, and veteran care. She is an active member of the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF) and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and she teaches a wide range of graduate nursing courses, including the 3Ps, Differential Diagnosis, and Advanced Practice Clinical I–III. Dr. Scott also serves as a StatPearls NP Blueprint Exam Contributor, and her research interests include AI in clinical education, clinical and diagnostic reasoning, and leadership development.
