Professional Background:

David Lundal  is the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Children’s Minnesota, where he leads technology, digital transformation, data, and cybersecurity strategies for one of the nation’s top pediatric health systems. He has served as CIO for multiple large integrated delivery networks, guiding organizations through major technology modernization, Epic implementations, and enterprise-scale operational change. David holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and an MBA from Bethel University, and brings a practical, forward-looking perspective to developing the next generation of healthcare leaders.

In the academic and professional development spheres, Mr. Herzog serves as a Clinical Professor of Practice at the Rochester Institute of Technology and was previously an Executive in Residence at the University of Michigan. As an active member of the AUPHA, he co-founded the Practitioner Scholar Faculty Forum, an initiative that earned him the AUPHA Challenge Coin. Through these roles, he continues to bridge the gap between executive practice and healthcare education, leveraging his deep expertise to mentor the next generation of industry leaders.
