Co-Founder, CultureCon

Born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, Nick Lombardino is a social entrepreneur, educator, and community builder dedicated to creating experiences that help people and organizations thrive. 

As Co-founder of CultureCon, a nationally recognized conference and media company, Nick brings together business leaders, innovators, and changemakers to explore workplace culture, ethical leadership, social impact, and human connection. Under his leadership, CultureCon has grown into a national movement, attracting attendees from across the United States and internationally.    

Throughout his career, Nick has held leadership roles spanning Marketing, Business Development, Operations, Human Resources, and Finance. He is passionate about helping mission-driven organizations strengthen culture, develop people-centered leadership, and create meaningful impact for employees, customers, and communities. 

A double alumnus of Edgewood University, Nick earned a Bachelor of Science in Business in 2010 and an MBA in 2012. As a student, he was a four-year member of the men’s soccer program, a four-time Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Scholar Athlete, and recipient of the Edgewood University Ethical Leadership Award and School of Business Scholarship and Leadership Award. His commitment to Edgewood has continued through service on the Alumni Board, the School of Business Advisory Committee, and as an adjunct faculty member teaching Social Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management. He remains an active mentor, guest speaker, and advocate for students. 

Prior to joining CultureCon full-time, Nick served on the leadership team at FarWell, where he led employee experience initiatives focused on workplace culture, engagement, and belonging. 

Nick’s leadership and community impact have been recognized through honors including InBusiness Magazine’s 40 Under 40, nomination for the Madison Magnet Wisconsin Young Professional Award, and selection to Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities. 

Outside of work, Nick is passionate about cribbage, soul music, lunch buffets, and just about anything you’d find in a senior living community. 

Nick lives in McFarland, Wisconsin, with his wife, Kara, an Edgewood alumna, and their two children.
