Madison, Wis. (July 16, 2025) – The Edgewood University women’s golf team received a top academic honor from the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WCGA). The WGCA, based in Coral Springs, Fla., announced its Academic Top 25 teams on Wednesday. The Eagles checked in at second in Division III with an impressive 3.879 GPA.

The Eagles performed at a high level in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year. Three Eagles finished the year with a perfect 4.00 GPA. This is the second-straight season the Eagles have achieved this honor, as they clocked in as 12th in Division III following the 2023-24 academic year.
The WGCA recognizes the top 25 schools in each division in terms of GPA for the entire team during the 2024-25 academic year.
Benedictine University also represented the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference. The fellow Eagles tied for fifth, recording a 3.821 GPA.
