Outreach Presentations & Workshops
Personal Counseling Services is able to give presentations to classrooms, groups of students, student organizations, staff members, and faculty. Commonly requested topics include:
- Stress management
- Relaxation & meditation
- Managing test anxiety
- Overcoming procrastination
- Healthy relationships & boundaries
- Sexual assault & rape culture
- Identifying symptoms of depression, anxiety, and/or other mental health concerns
- Substance use
- Disordered eating and/or body image issues
- Identifying and working with students of concern
- Motivational interviewing
- Listening skills
- Time management
- Gender identity
- Conflict resolution
- Participation in panel discussions
- Review of services offered by PCS (individual therapy, group therapy, outreach)
