Madison, Wis. (October 21, 2025) – Edgewood University is honored to announce a new partnership with the U.S. Army Cadet Command Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) which guarantees admission into the undergraduate Nursing program. The agreement, which takes effect January 2026, guarantees up to seven qualified cadets will have a place in the Henry Predolin College of Health Sciences Nursing program.

“This agreement provides outstanding educational opportunities for ROTC Scholarship awardees to pursue a career in Nursing while serving their Nation,” Lieutenant Colonel Nathan J. Tarter, Professor of Military Science at UW-Madison, said.

Students at UW-Madison, UW-Whitewater, and Edgewood University are eligible for the ROTC’s Badger Battalion, which traces its origins to the late 1800’s.

“This agreement is an important next step in a partnership that has deep roots at Edgewood University,” Dr. Quinn Mullikin, Dean of the Henry Predolin College of Health Sciences, said. “Our mission calls us to respond to the needs of our time, and we are grateful for the ROTC Badger Battalion for the trust they have put in our nursing program to prepare nurses to lead and serve, wherever that call takes them.”
