Undergraduate Admission Requirements

Applicants for admission to Edgewood College are required to submit the following:

  • High School Transcripts – with cumulative GPA and class rank (if available)
  • GED (if high school transcripts are not available)

 

For students enrolling at Edgewood College, the average GPA is 3.4. Students who plan to enroll during the 2024-2025 academic year are not required to submit ACT or SAT scores. Students who do submit scores are eligible for additional financial aid. Please note that admission to Edgewood College does not guarantee admission into individual schools or programs. Additional entrance requirements may be required for some programs including, but not limited to, nursing and education.

Applicants should present at least sixteen units of high school study, twelve of which should be chosen from among the following fields: Natural Science, Speech, Social Science, English, Foreign Language, History, and Mathematics. Two years of the same foreign language in grades 9-12 with grades of C or better are also recommended; if not completed in high school, the equivalent will be required at Edgewood College. All transcripts need to be in English for domestic students.

 

Post-Baccalaureate Admissions Requirements

For post baccalaureate students that are not seeking a degree but are adding a major or certification:
  • Official transcripts sent from all previous colleges/universities attended

For degree-seeking post baccalaureate students:
  • Official transcripts sent from all previous colleges/universities attended
  • An official transcript sent from high school
