Boardwalk Repairs - Spring 2017

Madison, Wis. (April 28, 2017) – The boardwalk along the shore of Lake Wingra was closed for the winter season. Earlier this month, it became clear that time and weather have taken a toll on the existing structures, as the materials approach the end of their natural and expected life. Significant repair or replacement is necessary.

One City, One Child at a Time

With the start of the Spring semester, students in Edgewood College’s ‘Pre-reading and Literature for the Young Child’ practicum are completing part of their requirements on-site at Madison’s One City preschool. One City is a nonprofit preschool located in South Madison.

“An Incredible Experience”

Zander Rothering, a junior Biology major from Richland Center, Wis., gets visibly excited when he talks about the summer of 2016. He and twelve other students traveled to South America, where they journeyed from Quito, Ecuador to the Galapagos Islands, in the Pacific Ocean hundreds of miles west of the continent.

In the Gallery - Robert Tarrell: Wander

Student Wins Major Award at American College Theatre Festival

Madison, Wis. (February 14, 2017) – Laura Meinders, a junior Theatre Arts major from Marshfield, Wis., was honored in January with a prestigious award from the 2017 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) for her work on Clue: The Musical specialty props. This year’s festival was held in Indianapolis, Ind.
