Janet McCord Receives Fulbright Specialist Award
December 22, 2025 NewsMadison, Wis. (December 22, 2025) – Janet McCord, Ph.D., Professor of Thanatology at Edgewood University, has received a Fulbright Specialist Program award. The U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board made the announcement earlier this fall. Dr. McCord will complete a project at Universidade de Aveiro in Portugal that aims to exchange knowledge and establish partnerships benefiting participants, institutions, and communities both in the U.S. and overseas through a variety of educational and training activities within education.
