Career Development

Know what you want to do when you graduate? Great! Want a little help? No problem!

The Academic Success and Career Development Center (ASCDC) is here to give you the tools you need to be academically successful while exploring and developing your career goals. It’s your place to go on campus for academic assistance, advising, help choosing a major and career development.

As an incoming freshman, you will be assigned to your own Academic and Career Counselor who will serve as your single point of contact for all academic success and career development needs you may have.

We can guide you through the decision-making process by talking to you about your specific goals, interests, and skills. And we can talk to you about what careers are out there and what kind of jobs you can get with different majors. We can even help you hone your skills to conduct a successful job search when the time comes.
