NIFEL Sessions Offer Financial Literacy Expertise

Madison, Wis. (May 16, 2018) – Edgewood College is pleased to once again offer a special opportunity for educators to expand and enhance their financial literacy. The National Institute for Financial and Economic and Literacy (NIFEL) will host three sessions on campus this summer. Education professionals in personal finance, family and consumer sciences, social studies, economics, math, and business are encouraged to attend.

The three conferences, Innovation & Entrepreneurship; Investor Education, Economics and Insurance; and Credit and Money each take place over the course of a week. Attendees stay on the beautiful campus of Edgewood College. The fee for each conference covers all costs, including housing and meals. 
 
Created in 2000, the simple NIFEL system is the most successful training program of its kind in the U.S. Over the course of seventeen summers, more than 1,300 educators from 13 states have enhanced their careers and expertise through NIFEL.
