Madison, Wis. (September 30, 2015) – Edgewood College is pleased to present the Innovation in Healthcare Summit: Creating Partnerships for Health. This annual conference takes place from 8:30 am – 1:00 pm, Saturday October 24, 2015, at Edgewood College.

In our complex and changing health care system, we can be more equitable and successful when health care workers and health care consumers work closely together in partnership. This summit will describe ways to develop and utilize communication strategies to deepen relationships that can improve health outcomes. The Henry Predolin School of Nursing at Edgewood College welcomes Meg Gaines, founder and director of the Center for Patient Partnerships, as the keynote speaker for this event.

The second annual event is co-hosted by Edgewood College and Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin, as part of ongoing efforts to engage and enlist nursing students and graduates in innovative and progressive care delivery.
