Signing the agreement June 2011

Madison, Wis. (October 25, 2019) – Edgewood College joins the entire community of colleges and universities in Wisconsin in saluting Ray Cross, UW System President, who has announced his retirement.

“Edgewood College has enjoyed our partnership with President Cross, which began shortly after his arrival in our state,” Mary Ellen Gevelinger, O.P., Interim President of Edgewood College, said. “His student-centered approach, and steady leadership during changing times serves as a model for all of us charting a course for the future for higher education in Wisconsin.

In June of 2011, Edgewood College and then-Chancellor Cross signed a formalized agreement making it easier for students who complete a two-year program at any UW College campus, or UW-Colleges Online Program, to transfer to Edgewood College to complete a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
