Honorary Degree for Legendary Public Servant

Edgewood College’s First Pitch Competition concluded

The first social impact pitch competition at Edgewood College – a new component of Edgewood Engaged – saw the project ‘Her Empowerment Race Zone’ (HERZ) awarded first place. The brainchild of Natasha Sichula, a senior majoring in Cytotechnology, HERZ advocates for distribution of free sanitary care packages to girls in her hometown of Mufulira, Zambia.

A new Decade of Community Scholars

In February, Edgewood College celebrated the next decade of Community Scholars with a special event on campus. Alumni, benefactors, and current scholars honored the program, launched in 2007, that awards full-tuition scholarships to reach historically under-represented local students who demonstrate academic potential, financial need, active leadership, and a commitment to serving the community. ​
