Summer Camps and Programs
Enjoy an active and fun summer at Edgewood College, located on 55 acres along the shores of Lake Wingra! Students of all ages can choose from a variety of interests for their perfect summer programming match. Whether a student is into science, music, athletics, or all of the above, Edgewood College has them covered.
When you think of summer – you think of science camps! We offer week-long camps and workshops for all camp-curious students ages 6 - 14. Want to learn what a limnologist does? We cover that. How about learning to cook like a scientist? We do that. Care to investigate the human body through the lens of a surgeon? We can make that happen. Basically, if you know a student who’s into science, it’s highly probable we’ll have a camp offering that will connect their interests with a fantastic summer learning experience.
High School Science Workshops
Our High School Science Workshops give participants experience in a college science lab while they learn from college science faculty in a hands-on, engaging environment.
Edgewood Summer Scholars
Edgewood College’s commitment to community engagement and work toward the common good, have led us to develop Edgewood Summer Scholars. This program, designed for students entering sixth grade in the fall of 2019, is meant to give them experiences that build their readiness for academic success.
Create Music Lab
Students are invited to collaborate with peers to explore composition, harmony and project-based musical work. This camp offers middle school students leadership and mentorship opportunities within the context of creating music.
