Hollie McCrea Olson serves as the Assistant Director of Student Success and Orientation. She works with both the Office of Student Inclusion and Involvement and the Office of Residence Life. In addition to overseeing Orientation for incoming freshmen and transfer students, she coordinates Edgewood College’s two Living Learning Programs, apartment living on campus, and Residence Life’s after hours response team.
Originally from Boise, Idaho, Hollie received her bachelor’s degrees in English and Spanish from Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington. She began her Student Affairs career working at the Whitworth University Costa Rica Center. In 2013, Hollie moved to Madison, WI where she began her Edgewood College journey. She worked full time in Residence Life for five years and is excited to join the OSII staff this year. Hollie is a proud Edgewood College alumna, having graduated with a Master’s in Education in 2016.
Outside of work, Hollie enjoys volunteering on the Mental Health Ministries leadership team at her local church, hiking, running, baking, and spending time with her partner, Joe, and dog, Gimli.
